Chief designer Geoff Upex said the SUV would be in the small-vehicle niche with BMW's Mini Cooper. With the arrival of the Range Rover Sport this year, the Freelander is the nest big vehicle around for the British jeep makers. The next Freelander propably, will move up in the market according to the Chief.
